GRASS AND WEEDS - no person, firm or corporation, owning or occupying any property within the borough of Red Hill, shall permit any grass weeds or vegetation whatsoever, not edible or planted for useful ornamental purposes, to grow or remain upon such premises so as to exceed a height of 6 inches or to throw off any unpleasant or noxious odor or to conceal any filthy deposit or to create or produce pollen. Any grass, weeds or other vegetation growing or remaining upon any premises in the borough in violation of any of the provisions of this section is hereby declared to be a nuisance and detrimental to the health, safety, cleanliness and comfort of the inhabitants of the borough. LEAF COLLECTION - Each year, usually starting in October, the borough allows residents to dump their leaves in the leaf pile adjacent to the Borough Maintenance Building. These dates will be posted in September on the borough home page under events and notices. Other dumping will be subject to $1,000.00 fine.
CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION - The Borough maintains an area adjacent to the Borough Maintenance Building where Christmas trees can be dumped during certain days in January. These dates will be posted in December on the borough home page under events and notices. Other dumping will be subject to $1,000.00 fine.
SNOW AND ICE - Sidewalks shall have at least a two-foot wide path cleared of snow and ice within 24 hours after the cessation of the snowfall. Exception if the snow and ice is more than 12 inches then sidewalks shall have at least a two-foot wide path cleared of snow and ice within 48 hours after the cessation of the snowfall.
