AMENDMENTS TO TRASH COLLECTION ORDINANCE

NOTICE

NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough Council of Red Hill Borough, at its public meeting on January 3, 2012 at the Red Hill Borough Hall, 56 West Fourth Street, Red Hill, Pennsylvania 18076, will hold a public hearing on and could vote t o adopt an ordinance entitled “Amendments to Trash Collection Ordinance”, to amend the Codified Ordinances of Red Hill Borough, Chapter 20 (Solid Waste), Part 1 (Collection and Removal), Section 20-102 (Administration), to limit the quantity of trash bags per property to be collected each week and to regulate the manner in which Borough authorized trash bags are used; to amend Chapter 20 (Solid Waste), Part 1 (Collection and Removal), Section 20-103 (Prohibited Acts), to prohibit placing or leaving trash at the street or curb beyond the period of time designated for collection; and to amend Chapter 20 ( Solid Waste), Part 1 (Collection and Removal), Section 20-104 (Penalties) to reduce the amount of the fine for violations. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for public inspection at the Borough Offices, 56 West Fourth Street, Red Hill, Pennsylvania 18076 where a copy of the proposed ordinance may be obtained at a charge not greater than the cost thereof, the offices of The Town & Country, 2508 Kutztown Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 and the Montgomery County Law Library, Court House, Norristown, Pennsylvania, during normal business hours.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Red Hill Borough Council, at its public meeting on January 11, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the Red Hill Borough Hall, 56 West Fourth Street, Red Hill, Pennsylvania 18076, will hold a public hearing on and could vote to adopt an ordinance entitled “Noise Ordinance” amending the Code of Ordinances of the Borough of Red Hill, Chapter 27 (Zoning), Part 5 (Environmental Protection), Section 502 (Nuisances Prohibited) to more particularly define noises that constitute a nuisance; and to amend and restate in its entirety Chapter 27 (Zoning), Part 5 (Environmental Protection), Section 506 (Noise Control) to establish revised sound level limits within Red Hill Borough. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for public inspection at the Borough Offices, 56 West Fourth Street, Red Hill, Pennsylvania 18076 where a copy of the proposed ordinance may be obtained at a charge not greater than the cost thereof, the offices of The Town & Country, 2508 Kutztown Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 and the Montgomery County Law Library, Court House, Norristown, Pennsylvania, during normal business hours.
