RED HILL TRASH & RECYCLING GUIDE.

TRASH INFORMATION

  • Please do not tie bags to trash cans
  • Put trash in Red Hill Borough bags, or line trash cans with Red Hill Borough trash bags
  • Red Hill Borough bags are to weigh no more than  45 pounds
  • If trash is larger than the Red Hill Borough bag allows, your trash will not be picked up
  • One bulk item per week, please attach a Red Hill Borough bag to the item
  • No large appliances

q       CEREAL BOXES

q       CHIPBOARD

q       MILK CARTONS

q       SODA CARTONS

q       FOOD CARTONS

q       ANYTHING FROM BATHROOM OR KITCHEN

 

THE BINS ARE OPEN 24 HOURS PER DAY / SEVEN DAYS PER WEEK.

What to Recycle!

GLASS, FOOD & BEVERAGE CONTAINERS ONLY!

·        REMOVE LIDS!

·        Rinse out container

·        Labels may be on

·        Please do not break

·        Clear, green, and brown glass accepted

NO window glass, mirrors, light bulbs, dishes, drinking     glasses, ceramics, car head-lights, glass tile, or glass wall blocks

NO  AUTO GLASS!

 

ALUMINUM BEVERAGE CANS!

·        Rinse Out Can

·        Labels may be on

·        Cans may be crushed

·        NO aerosol spray cans or paint cans

 

PLASTICS – SODA, MILK,WATER & LAUNDRY!

·        REMOVE LIDS!

·        Rinse out container

·        Labels may be on

·        Containers may be crushed

·        Bottles only (this pertains to containers with a neck smaller than the body)

·        Bottles & containers with a Recycling Symbol and the Numbers “1” or “2” are the ONLY type of plastics acceptable
